Youth Advanced Summer Camps

flying_scot_drawing.jpg

Once a young sailor has mastered the Sunfish, they will be ready for new challenges. The advanced youth course introduces new boats to sharpen their sailing skills. The Flying Scot adds the jib sail training and provides the sailing thrills that keeps their attention! Students learn fun-tuning of the sails and boats by racing their classmates at the week's end. On light air days, students might either paddle a canoe or kayak through the beautiful Dyke Marsh area surrounding the marina, or might cool off with a swim. Please note campers are required to wear life jackets at all times when on/in the water.
